While not stamped, this set of dining chairs is extremely close to many Jansen models and bears all the hallmarks of the firm: elegant proportions -- but, at the same time, emphasizing comfort and solid construction -- and the excellent quality carving. They are particularly close to the 'bon acceuil' chaise of 1972 and illustrated in J. Abbott, Jansen Furniture, New York, 2007, p. 104.
