    This library ladder of faux bamboo is designed in the Regency Chinese manner, after the Prince Regent's Marine Pavillion at Brighton. Furniture in the chinoiserie taste was supplied by Elward, Marsh and Tatham along with others similarly designed by Frederick Crace (d.1859).
