    The rectangular top inlaid overall with simulated pietre dure and marble insets including lapis lazuli, giallo, and porphyry, centred by an exotic bird, perched on a ribbon-addorned branch, within a rectangular surround decorated with scrolls, minor losses to the front left outer edge, restored break and minor restorations
