Veronique Cartier, daughter of Claude Cartier and granddaughter of Louis Cartier, followed in her illustrious family's footsteps and began working in the Paris jewelry industry in 1980, where she acquainted herself with all aspects of design and manufacturing. Shortly thereafter, she moved to New York where she pursued a degree at the Fashion Institute of Technology and by 1984, her jeweled creations, exclusively manufactured by Carvin French, were available through private showings.
