    Suspending a ribbed 18k rose gold guitar, set with a central frosted rock crystal tubular panel with black enamel trim, to the cylindrical labradorite, black enamel and 18k white gold base, to the 18k white gold brick link top, from a double-strand black silk cord, circa 1925, 25 ins. adjustable, with French assay marks and maker's mark (partial)

    Gerard Sandoz was an important modernist jeweler working in the 1920s who believed art was an integral part of daily life. He had a simple philosophy about making jewelry, "A piece of jewelry must be simple, clear and be made without any unnecessary embellishments."
