    Price Realised

    AN ELEGANT DIAMOND PENDENT NECKLACE

Designed as a series of thirty-eight marquise-cut and pear-shaped diamonds, suspending a line of larger marquise-cut and pear-shaped diamonds weighing 8.88 and 3.48 carats to the brilliant-cut diamond spacers, mounted in white gold, 38.5 cm long

Accompanied by forty-three reports from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the pear-shaped and marquise-cut diamonds are all D colour, internally flawless clarity

The total weight of the certified diamonds is 58.15 carats

Also accompanied by a supplemental letter stating the 8.88 carat pear brilliant cut diamond has been determined to be a type IIa diamond. Type IIa diamonds are the most chemically pure type of diamond and often have exceptional optical transparency. Type IIa diamonds were first identified as originating from India (particularly from the Golconda region) but have since been recovered in all major diamond-producing regions of the world. Among famous gem diamonds, the 530.20 carat Cullinan and the 105.60 carat Koh-i-noor, are examples of Type IIa
