According to the vendor, this stetson was given to him by George Harrison in around 1969-1971. The vendor worked for Woking Motors, the main Mercedes dealer in Walton-on-Thames, and was responsible for ensuring the cars were delivered to their owners and so became friendly with some of the customers, including George Harrison.
