    The accompanying statement from John Mollo confirms that this design was ...done by me in February, 1976 at the request of George Lucas, to show to Sir Alec Guinness in order to help persuade him to take on the role in Star Wars. It differs slightly to the previous design, sold through these rooms on 16th Decmeber, 2005, in that the cloak has been simplified.
