A prop lifejacket - made for the 1997 Twentieth Century Fox production Titanic, the jacket made of cream linen with two tie fastenings to the waist and one between the legs, the front and back panels filled with polystyrene, hung on a brass rail on a piece of wood, with a brass plaque engraved Titanic, 20th Century Fox, 1997, in a custom-made shadow box, overall measurements -- 40½x25in. The lifejacket in this lot is identical to those seen during the dramatic scenes as the Titanic sinks.
