    ROBERT CRESSETT (1696-1728), WAS THE SON OF EDWARD CRESSETT (D.1727), M.P. FOR SHREWSBURY 1710-1715, AND ELIZABETH DOUGHTY, WHOM HE MARRIED ON 8 AUGUST 1695. HE WAS THE GRAND-SON OF ROBERT CRESSETT OF UPTON CRESSETT AND COUND, SHROPSHIRE (1653-1678) AND ELIZABETH, DAUGHTER OF JAMES HUXLEY OF DORNFORD (1614-C.1672).
    COUND HALL WAS BUILT FOR EDWARD CRESSETT IN 1704.
