    with inscription 'Mrs Margaret Pope the widow of James Pope of the Island of Madeira [?] Merchant. She was sister to ... Mrs Susanna Barett of Kingseley [?] Madeira [?], and lived and died with her the 26th August 1750, aged 69' (on an old hand-written label attached to the reverse)
    in an 18th Century carved, pierced and gilded frame
