    PROPERTY FORMERLY IN THE COLLECTION OF INDONESIAN-CHINESE ARTIST LING NANLONG
    Ling Nanlong (1915-2000), born in Bangka Island, Indonesia, studied Chinese in Singapore, and was admitted to Hangzhou National Fine Arts Institute in the 1930s, and studied under Lin Fengmian. Ling remained in close contact with Lin and other artists in China and received works by them. In particular, he was fascinated with the works by Huang Binhong and collected many works of Huang.
