    Igor Snegur was born in Moscow in 1935. He graduated from the Moscow Poligraphic University in 1964 with a degree in graphics. Snegur participated in the first abstract exhibitions in Moscow in the studio of E. M. Belutin in 1958 to 1960. He was the founder of the well-known group '20 Moscow Artists', which held annual exhibitions on Malaya Gruzinka Street from 1978 to 1988.
