Besides pursuing a solo career, Coleen Fitzgibbon (1950) and Robin Winters (1950) worked together under the collaborative name X + Y (1976-1978). X + Y made a body of work spanning film, video, installation, and performance. In 1977 they did a performance in de Appel in Amsterdam entitled Take the money and run. The invitation of this project described them as: X + Y INTERNATIONAL SERVICES ADAPTABLE TO YOUR SITUATION. WE TRAVEL ANYWHERE ANYTIME. LARGE ENOUGH TO HANDLE YOUR NEEDS.
