    soft-ground, etching and drypoint, 1881, on laid paper, a delicate impression, Breeskin's only state, signed in pencil within the image, with margins, surface soiling, several diagonal creases across the lower left margin corner (one across the image), a vertical crease in the upper right margin corner (extending into the image), a horizontal crease nearly the length of the paper (originating from the right center margin), a stain in the right margin (extending into the image, to the right of the signature), a few creases at the upper margin corners, a ¼-in. tear in the lower right margin corner, soiling on the reverse, otherwise in good condition
