the complete set of six woodcuts, 1918, fine, rich and even impressions, on heavy, greenish-grey handmade paper, all signed, dated 1918 and inscribed in pencil Probedruck, a set of proof impressions before the total edition of 14 published by Fritz Gurlitt, Berlin, 1919 (the first four sets on Japan, the other ten on laid paper; there was also a number of unnumbered proofs dated 1917 on greenish laid paper with a Tower with Flower watermark), the full sheets, with deckle edges, plate V (K. H189) with two narrow paper losses along the left sheet edge, some other, minor defects at the sheet edges of some sheets, all generally in good to very good condition, Plate VI (K. H 190) with a drawing of a landscape in black ink on the reverse
