    etching, circa 1630, second, final state, a very good impression of this rare print, printing with fine wiping scratches, trimmed on or just inside the platemark below, to the subject at left, approximately 2 mm. into the blank area above and just into the subject at right, a small repaired hole or thin spot to the right of the neck, William Esdaile's mark in brown ink verso showing through recto, the sheet slightly toned
