The design of this carpet is a direct copy of the Imperial Habsburg Hunting Carpet in the Museum für Angewandte Kunst, Vienna (Angela Völker, Die orientalischen Knüpfteppiche im MAK, Vienna, 2001, no.70, pp. 198-203).
