    Northeastern India, Pala period, 11th century
    The elephant-headed deity seated in rajalilasana atop a pillow, his arms radiating around him with his primary right hand raised in abhaya mudra, his other hands holding a radish and a bowl of sweets, clad in a short dhoti and sash draped across his chest, adorned with jewelry, his ears and trunk with incised detail, his trunk curled to his left and a beaded headdress over his head, backed by a beaded mandorla, an apsara above his right shoulder and his rat vehicle at his feet
