    A bronze figure of Shiva and Parvati with Nandi
    India, Maharashtra, 18th century
    The four-armed god seated on a round seat over Nandi, his arm wrapped around Parvati who is seated on his lap, both holding the lotus bud in their lower right hands, the bull draped with multiple belled necklaces and standing on a stepped pedestal incised with floral and scalloped patterns, the whole backed by a flaming archway centered by a five-headed snake
