    DATED FIRST YEAR OF YONGLE (1403) AND POSSIBLY OF THE PERIOD
    The rectangular stele finely cast with a long inscription on the front and surmonted by two trailing dragons flanking two larger characters Sheng Zhi, 'Imperial Edict', all supported on the back of a mythical tortoise standing foursquare with its mouth open to reveal its teeth and tongue, the upturned tail with flame-like hair
