    Christopher Moore (1790-1863) exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1821-1860 and at the British Institute from 1821-1834. He exhibited a bust of George Stephenson at Liverpool Academy, it currently resides in the Newcastle Literary and Philosophical Society.
    General Sir Edward Sabine (1788 –1883) was an Irish astronomer, geophysicist, explorer, soldier and the 30th President of the Royal Society. Two branches of Sabine's work are notable: Determination of the length of the seconds pendulum, and his research on the Earth's magnetic field.
