    An inlaid bronze figure of Mahasiddha Virupa
    Tibet, 16th century
    Seated in sattvasana on an antelope skin, his hands raised to his chest in dharmachakra mudra, clad in a short dhoti with foliate pattern in relief and jewelry inset with silver and copper, further adorned with a long floral garland draped from his shoulder across his lap, his face in a serene expression with inlaid copper and silver eyes, copper inlaid lips and remains of cold gold, his hair with remains of polychromy, draped across his shoulders and pulled into a high braided chignon secured by foliate tiara, all atop a double lotus base with dedicatory inscriptions around the rim of the base
