    bronze with a dark brown and red patina
    30 in. (76.2 cm.) high
    Conceived in 1912 and cast at a later date by Musée du Petit Palais, Geneva, from the original plaster.

    The original painted and gilded plaster was commissioned by artist and theatre designer Claud Lovat Fraser (1890-1921) in December 1912 who paid £5 for its casting in plaster by Parlanti. It hung in Fraser's studio until his death.
