Kenneth Bunn is known for his wildlife subjects and works in bronze and oil. His style is interpretative and captures the gestures and specific behaviors of his animal subjects. He began his career as a taxidermist and then as a creator of animal displays for museums including the National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C. and this experience gave him an acute understanding of animal anatomy. He later moved into sculpture and won a bronze medal at the National Sculpture Society Show in New York. He is an Academician of the National Academy of Design and a Fellow of the National Sculpture Society. He resides in Colorado.
