The coat would seem to be a special commission to celebrate European Union. It has to post-date 1973, as it includes a splendid representation of Big Ben in prominent position on the front of the coat.

    THE PROPERTY OF A NOBLEMAN

The following lots were commissioned by the late Count Palmieri from the top Parisian embroidery house, Lesage. Lesage are the embroiderers of choice to the couture industry, but here have collaborated with a private collector to produce waistcoats of superlative work, most with matching accessories.
