    A GREEK ISLAND EMBROIDERED PANEL, DODECANESE, 18TH CENTURY
    a Sperber bed tent panel, comprising three plain linen vertical panels, the central one with vertical split for the opening, very finely embroidered in various coloured silks with borders of alternating floral sprays with small animal motifs, chevron panels above with a wide variety of different motifs including double-headed eagles, flowers, birds and animals, the side panels with bolder, floral designs embroidered in red and green silk, areas of wear, more pronounced in the side panels, backed, edges reinforced--76 x 65in.
