    The rectangular painting with Tsong.kha.pa in the centre, seated in vajrasana on a lotus against a cushion, his right hand holding lotus supporting a manuscript, the other hand carrying leaves of a manuscript, wearing various garments, his face with serene expression and typical cap, flanked by his four disciples, the upper row with peaceful deities, Vajrapani and Yama, while the lower section depicts many protective divinities, in mountainous landscape
