    Finely woven in the center with a peony spray medallion encircled by the Eight Buddhist Emblems (bajixiang) arranged in pairs, with the addition of a bat suspending crossed ruyi scepters above and a chime sprouting nandina flanked by tridents below, all tied with scrolling ribbons, woven in fine gold-wrapped thread and shades of salmon, blue, red, green and yellow, in contrast to the midnight-blue ground, with some painted details
