    Signed Audemars Piguet, No. 45'979, hand-stamped number 15347 underneath the top left lug, manufactured in 1942
    Cal. 13''' VZA nickel-finished lever movement, 21 jewels, the silvered matte dial with applied gold square-shaped numerals, outer black Arabic five minute divisions and blue tachymetre scale, three subsidiary dials indicating date, day combined with constant seconds and month combined with 30 minutes register, aperture for phases of the moon combined with lunar calendar, in circular case with extended downturned lugs, snap on back, two oval chronograph buttons in the band, 18K gold Audemars Piguet buckle, case and movement signed

    According to the Archives of Audemars Piguet, the present watch was made in 1942 and sold to the US in 1947.
