IWC produced this watch in a limted edition of 50 pieces to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Da Vinci model.

The dial features an image of Leonardo Da Vinci (1452-1519) and includes his signature in reverse along with images of several of his inventions. Da Vinci is considered the archtype of the Renaissance man due to his interest and pursuits in many fields of mathematics and science. In addition to being a great painter, he is also known for his contributions to many disciplines including engineering, optics and hydrodynamics.
