Born in La Chaux-de-fonds, Switzerland, Pierre Jaquet Droz quickly took strong interest in precision mechanics and decided to apply his skills to high-end horology. Master-watchmaker, Jaquet Droz was also an acute businessman and began developing a network enabling him to promote his pieces globally in countries such as the United Kingdom, Spain or China.
Now owned by the Swatch Group, the manufacture has stayed true to its origins and continues to create high-end and complicated pieces inspired from the rich history and tradition established by its founder.
