    Cal. 212 nickel-finished lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, 17 jewels, metal dust cover, the diagonally positioned black matte dial with luminous Arabic numerals, luminous spade hands, outer five minute divisions, two subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds and 30 minutes register, in large circular case, extended downturned lugs with fixed bars, snap on back engraved with U.S. Army specifications, large crown at 2 o'clock, chronograph button in the crown, case and movement signed and numbered, dust cover numbered, movement also signed U.S. Army A.C., outer case stamped A.C. 267

    The present watch is comparable to Longines' reference 21668 single button chronograph wristwatch, also made around 1935 and featuring the same diagonal dial layout.

    According to the military engravings to the case back of this watch, identical to those on the model made by Longines, these watches were supplied to the US Army Aircorps.
