    With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvery opaline-white dial, white gold "obus" indexes and white gold bracelet in 1993 and its subsequent sale on 23 July 1993. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe wooden presentation box and outer packaging.

    This watch has never been offered at auction before and is thought to be one of only four examples of reference 3970/2 to appear in public to date.

    The celebrated reference 3970 was in production from 1986 until 2004. The model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 305.
