    Cal. 27-70 Q nickel-finished lever movement stamped with the Geneva seal, 28 jewels, Gyromax balance, free sprung regulator, silvered matte dial, applied gold Arabic numerals, two windows for day and month, three subsidiary dials for constant seconds with 24 hour display, 30 minutes register with leap year indicator, date and moon phases, circular water-resistant-type case, screw back, split seconds chronograph mechanism operated through two round chronograph buttons in the band and through the crown, 18K pink gold Patek Philippe deployant clasp, case, dial and movement signed

    With Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin confirming the sale of the present watch on 6 October 1998. Furthermore delivered with 18K pink gold and wooden setting pin, wooden presentation box and outer packaging.

    Purchased by the present owner in Patek Philippe's Salons in Geneva in 1998, this watch has never been offered at auction before. It is furthermore believed to be one of only eight examples of reference 5004 in pink gold to appear in public to date.

    Manufacture of reference 5004 was launched in 1995. The model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 312.
