Invented by Dr. Ludwig Oechslin, a scientist, inventor, historian and watchmaker, the ingenious and unusual design of the 7-day Carrousel Tourbillon allows the owner to set and wind the watch without a crown and to read the time without traditional hands. The movement can beat for seven days when fully wound and does not require any lubrication.
It is also the first time piece ever produced that features an escapement etched out of polycrystalline cultured diamond, which neither expands nor contracts and is free from electric and magnetic influences.

    Saleroom Notice

Please note the impulse wheels of the present watch are made from polycrystalline diamonds, and not crystal silicon as stated in the catalogue.
