A LARGE ROMAN PALE GREEN GLASS JUG
CIRCA LATE 3RD-4TH CENTURY A.D.
The body with broad shoulder tapering to the applied base, cylindrical neck and flaring mouth, with applied vernicular coil in bluish-green glass below the rim and a thick collar with tooled ribbing around the lower neck, thick ribbed handle with triangular thumb-rest projecting above the rim
