A MESOPOTAMIAN SCARLET-WARE POTTERY JAR
CIRCA EARLY 3RD MILLENNIUM B.C.
The deep bowl oval in section tapering toward the ring foot, decorated in brownish-red slip with a geometric pattern consisting of lattice with alternating vertical and horizontal arches, zigzag below the rim, with double-perforated twin vertical lug handles on the flattened sides
