Three frontispieces, headpieces and 46 heliogravures illustrations, 11 of these full-page, all coloured in pochoirs. Contemporary morocco by E. Carayon, preserving the original printed wrappers, spine with raised bands gilt in compartments, sides with gilt fillet frame and chi-ro corner tools, edges gilt, wide turn-ins with gilt rules, silk doublures with floral pattern, paper-covered slipcase (slipcase with light wear). Provenance: Alfred de Crozals (bookplate) -- Maurice Renaud (bookplate).
