TWO PARTIAL BIFOLIA FROM A NOTED BREVIARY, in Latin with Beneventan neumes, MANUSCRIPT ON VELLUM

237 x 305mm; 243 x 307mm. Text written in an early rounded gothic bookhand in brown ink, music in Beneventan neumes with a single line ruled in red, initials and rubrics in red (cropped, some staining from use as pastedowns). In a modern cloth binding.
The text contains services for the Common of Martyrs and Sts Peter and Paul, with instructions for the feast of Sts Sixtus, Felicissimus, Agapitus (7 August), and for the feast of St Laurence (10 August).
