VIZAGAPATAM, INDIA, CIRCA 1930
Of rectangular form with slightly raised cover, on four paw-like feet, the tortoiseshell veneer applied with ivory panels maintained with white metal studs, some panels with openwork floral decoration, other engraved and inlaid with floral arabesques, with lock, key lacking
3 x 8 1/8 x 6 1/8in. (8 x 20.7 x 15.5cm.)
