    A 20th century scrimshaw and carved walrus' tusk in the form of an eagle**
    [unsigned], polished, engraved and carved in relief with the head of an eagle at on end and layers of feathers incised to the other end. Engraved in an oval at the center is a whaling scene with a whale boat and an overturned whale tangled in the harpoon line.
    11 in. (27.9 cm.) length.
