    Of circular shape with a spreading rectangular base and a garlic neck, flanked by moulded scrolling handles with ruyi-head terminals, each side painted in rich cobalt blue with eight panels enclosing the 'Eight Buddhist Emblems', bajixiang, radiating from a stylised flowerhead, the sides painted with a narrow band of leafy scrolls issuing blossoms, the neck and mouth with bands of ruyi and hanging pendants
