    Choson period (19th century)
    Of square section with rounded concave walls moulded with a lanky mythical beast across the rim and top of two sides, the whole save the unglazed square base decorated with cobalt blue glaze covered by a transparent overglaze; fitted with a metal ink spoon cast with a dragon-head finial
    2 1/8 x 2 1/8 x 1¾in. (5.3 x 5.3 x 4.1cm.)
