A Chinese pale celadon jade alms bowl, 20th century
of compressed ovoid shape with high shoulders and a short rim, carved in low relief with the Three Friends of Winter growing amidst rockwork, the stone of pale celadon tone with brown-black inclusions -- 7¼in. (18.4cm.) wide; and a slender pale celadon jade baluster vase and cover, carved with a leafy lotus scroll between a chrysanthemum lappet border on the shoulders and a foliate scroll above the splayed foot with upright lappets, the domed cover with a foliate scroll and pearl finial with incised flower, 20th century -- 8¾in. (22.2cm.) high. (2)
