A Chinese pottery model of a saddled horse, Tang dynasty
in a striding pose standing on well defined muscular legs, the head held high, with ears pricked above the forelock, bulging eyes painted black, nostrils flared and mouth open, with a detachable saddle, traces of red, black and white pigments -- 18 5/8in. (47.2cm.) high.
