    18TH CENTURY
    Of rectangular form, raised on a reticulated, waisted base attached to a waisted rectangular plinth, with two sides left open and the other two pierced with foliate meander above and below a cloisonné panel, the canted corners incised with dragons, all below a flared cornice pierced with lotus scroll surrounding an arched canopy surmounted by a ribbon-tied jar decorated with cracked-ice pattern; together with a small gilt-bronze figure of a bodhisattva, 18th century, seated in dhyanasana and holding a bell and vajra, the face painted gold and the details of the hair picked out in blue
