    The funnel bowl with two cherubs and a lion on clouds, the right cherub with face turned three-quarters to the left, with a caduceus in its hand to the right, the left cherub seen from behind with a fasces in its hand to the left, its face turned slightly to the right, a book to the left of its belly above its flowing loincloth, underneath the stipled inscription NEDERLANDS WELVAREN, 'the prosperity of the Netherlands', the stem with straight lozenge-shaped facets, conical foot

    Apparently unrecorded in F.G.A.M. Smit, Uniquely Dutch Eighteenth-Century Stipple-Engravings on Glass, Peterborough, 1993. Op. cit. above p. 44 Ab. 44 for a related plain-stemmed wine-glass by David Wolff with two lions on clouds and similar attributes, and stippled with 'Nederlands Welvaren' but with different setting of some details.
