DAOGUANG SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The exterior decorated with four circular medallions enclosing sprays of chrysanthemums, asters and lingzhi within a gilt border, separated by four ribbon-tied peach branches positioned above a band of froth-capped waves, all reserved on a pale yellow sgraffiato ground, the interior painted in underglaze blue with a central medallion of lingzhi and bamboo growing from rocks rising from crashing waves beneath ribbon-tied wan emblems, all below four peony and lingzhi sprays
