    Fine rose and scroll scallop-backed actions retaining virtually all original colour hardening, gold inlaid numbering, serial numbers, model details and automatic "safe", gold wash triggers, figured stocks with side flats and drop points, barrels engraved with Maker's details, raised "Churchill" ribs
    Weight (20-bore) 5lb 5½oz., (28-bore) 5lb ½oz, (.410) 4lb 11½ oz., all with 14 3/8in. stocks, chokes (20-bore) ¼ and ¼, (28-bore) ¼ and ½ & (.410) full to both, the 20-bore and 28-bore with 2¾in chambers, the .410 with 3in chambers, all nitro proofed
    In Maker's treble leather flat case with velvet lining, with oil bottle, snap caps and horn-handled turnscrews (3)

    The guns remain in unused condition and formed the opening lot of Churchill guns sold by Christies in conjunction with Abercrombie & Fitch in Dallas in May 1981.

    Sporting Guns. Unless otherwise stated, this gun is a double-barrelled hammerless shotgun. Every gun (blue label), with specific exceptions (yellow label), requires a Shot Gun Certificate.
    No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 15% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis.
